About Techny

Techny Land Corporation NFP is home to Crate and Barrel's corporate headquarters, luxury townhomes and condominiums and Chicagoland's flagship Whole Foods store. It is a mixed-use property featuring residential, retail, commercial and recreational developments designed to complement each other and maintain the highest standards for quality. Owned by the Society of the Divine Word, Techny Land Corporation NFP has leased more than 400 acres for development in Northbrook, Illinois, twenty-five miles north of downtown Chicago. The Society works in close partnership with the Village of Northbrook to ensure each project is done in compatibility with the community in a way that complements the landscape of the village and the needs of its residents. Techny is an integral part of the rich fabric of Northbrook and will be far into the future.
